• Tires (they actually said Blakely on the sidewall)

What can you tell me about the "Western" frosted glasses I'm finding, the Pin Cushion and Night Blooming Cerius?  Are they

Blakely?  That is a question all Blakely collectors are asking and to be able to say without certainty that they are, I'm sorry but, I can't.

With all of my research on Blakely, I haven't been able to find anything one way or the other, no advertisement to show them and  trust me I've done a lot of research.  Is it a possibility sure, anything is possible.  Do they fit with the Blakely collection absolutely.  Do I have them, of course!  There are actually 10 of them in the Western set if you want to know the original 8 and the 2 additional ones mentioned above.  If and when I can confirm anything, I'll definately have it posted on the website for all to find.

Pricing of any collectible can be a challenge.  To begin with pricing will rise and fall with the economy as well as the demand and availability of an item and what the market will allow.  The rarity of an item will usually command a higher demand as well as a higher price. 

A Frosted set of Glasses, Pitcher and Tray in AZ Antique shops are usually priced between $250-300.

The Frosted glasses on an individual basis are priced between $8-12.

I believe the more difficult glass set to find is the Clear Painted set, finding a pitcher for this set is just more difficult however, it is usually priced in the same $250-300 range as the Frosted set. 

The Clear Painted glasses are priced between $10-15 but, beware of the reproductions made by Skaggs Drug Stores and Western Savings (see my reproduction section). 

The Frosted Juice Set is also a little more difficult to find.  The juice glasses are not quite as available and the round tray is harder to find.  These sets have a little wider range of pricing hitting as low as $200 and as high as $300.

The Frosted juice glass is priced between $10-15 when they are found.

Ebay and Auction pricing can vary substantially.  If you are a hard core Blakely collector then you need to determine how much you are willing to pay for a particular item.
